April is International Poetry Month, which I think deserves celebrating!

Poetry is an incredible form of expression. Crafting a good poem requires self-reflection, keen observation, and the fearlessness to speak from your soul.

When I first started working on Guided by Love, I had no idea how heavily it was going to be driven by poetry, but it’s the poems that give the art so much depth.

Of the six poems in the collection, I cannot tell you which one is my favorite because they all resonate with me when I need them to, so I’m sharing the first one I wrote, Stay Golden.
