Guided by Love

Obviously, no one planned for a pandemic year, and it’s been hard on all of us. That struggle looks different to everyone. From loneliness and depression, to financial struggles and everything in between, COVID 19 has impacted all of us.

Prior to 2020, I was extremely vocal about women’s advocacy through The Love Necklace Campaign, and The Empower through Love Project, both of which I had to put on hold this year. Belize’s borders have been closed most of the year, and I haven’t been able to get my Love Necklace supplies. And because we’ve been in a lockdown/social distancing, I haven’t been able to get any teens together to educate and empower.

I am currently working on plans to continue these projects, but in the mean time, I wanted to let you know that I am continually striving to embrace the mission of Mpulse Studio, to support women’s health, safety, and dignity, through all of my art.

Right now, through the Nautical Bohemia Collection, I’m painting on retired catamaran sails with oceanic imagery to inspire self love through every part of our life adventures, even through the most difficult times. I can attest to the fact that I’ve had really step up my self love game, and it hasn’t been easy. Often in the hardest times, it never is.
