You’re Invited

To celebrate the wedding ceremony of

Margaret and Pancho

on the twenty sixth of May, two thousand and twenty-four

at half past four in the afternoon

at the Meso American Barrier Reef

We will meet at the dock of Overseas at four o’clock in the afternoon. Our wedding boat, No Rush, has limited capacity, so if you would like to join us at the reef at Tres Cocos where we will say our vows, we will have additional vessels available for you to board. If you prefer to take your own boat, that is perfect, as Overseas has plenty of space for you to tie up.

Following our ceremony at the reef, we will celebrate on the over the water deck at Overseas from five-thirty until seven-thirty in the evening.

This is a small, intimate wedding, and we would be elated for you to celebrate with us.

Our Story

Seven years ago, while I was working on my first novel, I traveled to Belize to research the country and the culture. With no intention of falling into an island romance, I sat on a dock and curiously watched a fisherman fillet his catch and toss the carcasses into the sky while a fleet of frigate birds hovered above.

While he paid me no mind, something deep within nudged me to start a conversation.

Several days later, the fisherman, Pancho, invited me to join him at sea, and he introduced me to a new world—one of waves and tides and endlessness.

As the sun set, just before we parted, we learned that we share something powerful—our birthday, November 9th.

As two passionate Scorpios, we challenge and inspire one another to embrace our strengths and let our hearts guide us toward our dreams.

On the twenty-sixth of May, as we celebrate our marriage, the Scorpio constellation will rise above the reef and cast starlight upon us all as we dance beneath a moonlit sky.
