Jonny,

When we first spoke, you mentioned that you weren't sure whether you even had a story worth telling.

After sitting with our conversation, I don't think your story is about drugs, hockey, crypto, celebrities, wealth, or even the extraordinary people you've crossed paths with over the years. Those experiences are fascinating, but they're not the heart of the book.

What I see is the story of a man who has lived a dozen different lives, each one teaching him something different about success, identity, loyalty, and purpose.

It begins with a thirteen-year-old boy whose understanding of the world changes in an instant. Watching your father—a former intelligence officer—sustain what appeared to be a gunshot wound wasn't simply a frightening childhood memory. It was a defining moment that shaped the way you viewed trust, danger, authority, and the uncertainty of life. It altered your sense of security before you were old enough to understand what had happened.

From there, your life unfolds in ways that most people only experience through movies.

You are gifted, intelligent, athletic, and naturally charismatic. You move effortlessly between worlds—elite youth hockey, skate culture, punk music, drug culture, international travel, corporate America, entrepreneurship, Hollywood, professional athletes, gangsters, investors, celebrities, and high-level business. You learned early that relationships were currency and that understanding people was one of your greatest gifts. Time and again, opportunities found you because you knew how to build trust with people from every walk of life.

On paper, it looks like a life many people would envy.

Yet underneath the adventure, success, money, and excitement was a recurring question that none of those things could answer.

You experienced rock bottoms. You chased adrenaline. You chased success. You chased beautiful women, influence, and the next challenge. Each chapter seemed bigger than the last, yet none of it completely filled the void.

Then things began to change.

The turning point in your story isn't another business venture or another extraordinary connection.

It's a young man named Clay.

Choosing to care for someone with a terminal illness transformed the trajectory of your life in a way nothing else had. Helping him regain his dignity, sharing moments most people would overlook, and walking beside him for years until the end stripped away every illusion of what success was supposed to look like. It wasn't glamorous. It wasn't profitable. Yet it became a pivotal chapter of your life.

That experience reframed everything that came before it.

Looking back, the drugs, the hockey, Australia, corporate success, crypto, celebrity circles, luxury, and the remarkable people you've known all become supporting chapters in a much larger story. They're not the destination—they're the road that ultimately led you to discovering what truly mattered.

Today, your life in Belize reflects that evolution. It's quieter. Simpler. More intentional. Rather than chasing the next opportunity, you've found fulfillment in community, loyalty, honest relationships, and living on your own terms.

To me, this isn't a memoir about living an unconventional life.

It's about a man who had access to nearly everything people spend their lives chasing, only to discover that fulfillment can’t always be bought, earned, or negotiated. It has to be lived.

When I step back and look at your life as a whole, I don't see a collection of unbelievable stories. I see a remarkable transformation. A privileged boy becomes a traumatized teenager. A gifted athlete becomes a risk-taker searching for something more. A natural connector builds influence and success across wildly different worlds. A man who once measured life by excitement discovers that the deepest sense of purpose comes through serving someone else.

That's not simply an interesting life.

That's a compelling memoir.

Because readers won't connect with your story solely because you've known famous people, built wealth, or live boldly. They'll connect because, beneath all of your experiences, they'll recognize something universal: the search for meaning.

And that's a story worth telling, and I sincerely hope that you feel that way as well.

It was a pleasure to meet with you.

As promised, here is the link to your Memoir Mind Map, serving as an opportunity to journal through some thoughts about your journey through life.

Memoir Mind Map

One last thought...

There is absolutely no pressure to make a decision today. Stories have a way of finding the right time to be told, and if you decide that time is now, I'd be honored to help you bring yours to life.

That said, if reading this sparked something in you—if you're already beginning to see the shape of the story that's been there all along—I don't want momentum to fade.

I've included a simple project link below that allows you to reserve your Author Interview & Chapter Outline with a deposit that works for you. Simply enter the amount you'd like to put toward the project, and the remaining balance will be due prior to the interview. Think of it less as paying for a book and more as taking the first step toward telling a story that only you can tell.

Whether that's today, next month, or sometime down the road, the decision is entirely yours. But if you're ready to begin, this is where your memoir starts.

With so much gratitude,
