Mpulse Studio's Vision

I created Mpulse Studio in 2010 while I was working as a director of a non-profit organization.  I worked hard to balance an art studio, creative vision, and a 40+ hour work week.  I found myself spinning my wheels.  At that point, I didn't have a strong artistic vision... my thoughts were all over the place.  I ended up setting Mpulse Studio aside and continued my path in the non-profit world.

Fast forward four years.  Still working in the non-profit industry, I found myself uninspired, unmotivated and desperately searching for a career path that would suit my talents and passions.  Over the summer, I made the decision to work part time for a non-profit management and begin to pursue Mpulse Studio again, part time as well.  My urge to create was more powerful than I had ever felt it before.  I began to spend any time that I had available in my studio painting and sculpting.  The content and subject matter flowed from my mind through my fingers and to the various mediums that I work with.  Everything began to come very naturally.  I didn't have to question what I was going to paint or sculpt next.  My art was finally instinctual.  That is when I knew that I had finally found my path.  Over the course of the next few months, I resigned from the firm for which I was working and began to focus solely on Mpulse Studio.

I've allowed my art and my creative instinct to define me as a wildlife artist.  Through painting and sculpture, I'm constantly discovering new ways to illustrate our natural surroundings.  My vision and my intent as an artist is to identify natural, organic, beauty and share with my viewers the majesty of all the life that surrounds us.
