A Walk through San Pedro

Whether you arrive in San Pedro, Belize by water taxi, or a single engine Cessna, you’re guaranteed to step into a damp, salty atmosphere where magic lingers at every turn. Hidden in the shade of the coconut palms, woven through the tangled mangrove branches, glistening in the seawater shimmer, the island possesses an energy that I’m blessed to connect with. It’s an energy that guides my creativity, not just through visual art, but through my stories I write, and through the philanthropic work that I do within the community.

Both The Love Necklace Campaign, and The Empower Her Sessions support women and teens in San Pedro, and on the Belize mainland, as well as Dallas, Austin, and New Orleans.

This is a little glimpse into the landscape that inspires my art.

San Pedro is known for fishing and diving tours, which are amazing attractions. But when you immerse yourself in the community and allow yourself to feel the magic, a part of it will linger in your heart, keeping you always connected to the island.

I hope you enjoy this visual journey through my tropical stompin' grounds.
